Ali Zafar is one of the most popular Pakistani singer and actor. Not only in Pakistan, he has made his mark internationally as well. He has worked with the likes of Katrina Kaif, Ranveer Singh, Govinda and Anupam Kher. Before the uncalled for ban of Pakistani actors in Bollywood, Ali Zafar was a household name in India. However, he is all set to make his debut in Pakistani films with Teefa in Trouble. There is much hype about this film. Sadly, even before it’s release, the film and the actor are in hot water. People are planning to boycott Teefa in Trouble.
The reason behind the boycott are the allegations made by Meesha Shafi against Ali Zafar.
A few months back, Meesha Shafi accused Ali Zafar of sexual harassment. This news shook the country to the core. It divided the country into two groups. People are defending their favourite artist. Since then, everybody is talking about the fate of Teefa in Trouble. Although Ali Zafar has denied the allegations and filed a case against Meesha Shafi, people are still going to boycott Teefa in Trouble.
As the date of release comes near, people are asking each other to boycott Teefa in Trouble.
On Twitter, people started a hashtag boycott Teefa in Trouble.
This person is not going to forget anything.
Ali Zafar is hoping to sweep the harassment allegations under the rug but he doesn't know that we're not ones to forget. #BoycottTeefaInTrouble

She called media out on its hypocrisy.
There’s a show on Geo News talking about how women’s harassment and murder is wrong and how to make changes to policy so reporting harassment is easier WHILE running promo for Teefa In Trouble at the bottom of the screen. Irony is dead. #BoycottTeefaInTrouble

Apparently, Fawad Khan is cancelled.
Seeing Fawad Khan @ the music launch of Teefa In Trouble is telling of how seriously he takes sexual harassment & reflects on who he is as a person. Fawad is so cancelled, hes an enabler & his blatant support is evident of his complicity. #BoycottTeefaInTrouble

Even the doctors are boycotting the film.
Most of us female doctors at my hospital have decided to #BoycottTeefaInTrouble. No money for sexual predators! @AliZafarsays May the producers should delay it's release until after this case is settled. We stand with @itsmeeshashafi whilebmost of her own fraternity doesn't.

Honestly, I never really cared about Ali Zafar or Maya Ali’s acting. I have never been their fan. But I will watch this film. Not because of the actors involved but for all the hard work other people have put in it. What I think about the sexual harassment allegations is a discussion for another day. But the film should not get all the wrath. At the end of the day, a film is never just about one actor but the whole team involved.
