Kumail Nanjiani and Emily V. Gordon announce Anthology Series “Little America”
Little America is an Anthology series and will be based on true stories of American’s Immigrants. For those who are unaware, an anthology series is a radio, television or book series that presents a different story and a different set of characters in each episode or season/series. So, Kumail Nanjiani and Emily V. Gordon are working on a series comprising of eight episodes, each half hour long. Little America is expected to be a “collective portrait of America’s immigrants.”
Little America is the thirteenth series, produced by the Tech Giants, Apple. Moreover, this series is expected to bring the stories of American Immigrants forward in a funny, romantic and inspiring way. And at this crucial time, when American Immigrants is a BIG CONTROVERSY, this series seems like a worthwhile project by Apple!

The website for this show states:
Everyone here came from somewhere else. Even Native Americans crossed the Bering Strait at some point. This is the basic American idea — an identity open to all — but it can be easy to forget from inside. And that’s when politics can turn ugly, as it has recently, with our political narrative becoming a story of blame and fear. “Little America” is meant to counter that narrative with a fuller portrait of our most recent arrivals.
The series has already started making news because of the Oscar nominated screenwriters, Kumail Nanjiani and Emily V. Gordon. Furthermore, with the political twist to the statement issued at the website, Little America is going to be one controversial packed series!
